Case Study - Volpa

Volpa have been Castlecroft tenants since April 2010. They decided to move from their previous rural location after heavy snow left them without electricity, access to the office or email for a period of 7 days. A move closer to the city was essential to minimise the risk to the business of being isolated in the countryside.

The business:

Established in 2002, Volpa is a multi-award-winning marketing agency based in Perth.

Named after the Latin word for “Fox” Volpa creates cunningly good publicity with a fun approach for a diverse range of clients across Scotland.

Their busy “den” at King James VI Business Centre houses a truly collaborative and creative team, with skills that span running their own businesses, creativity, public relations, sales, marketing qualifications, copywriting, web development and digital expertise.

Volpa focus on delivering real marketing brilliance, with strong results and an even more impressive return on investment. Find out what they can do for your business at www.cunninglygood.com

Their needs:

Their first question when considering premises was whether they could bring dogs to the office - it was a deal breaker for them – and happily dogs are very welcome at King James VI business centre.

Volpa also love the flexibility and control of having all the utilities – electricity, gas, phone and internet – all rolled up in one neat package, with no surprises. Controlling costs is important for a small and growing business and Castlecroft understands that.

Our solution:

Volpa is a rapidly growing business, and Castlecroft has been able to support the ever-extending office needs of this busy company. In 2010, the first office held just three people, this extended into a second one-man office, then another for a further three staff. Volpa have now settled into an entire suite on the ground floor, with a team of 14 staff and scope for further expansion.

As you would expect from a well-connected PR and marketing company, Volpa has seized the to expand their client list. They make full use of the services provided by Castlecroft, including postage, meeting rooms, storage units, and document shredding.

Volpa’s CEO Tricia Fox says, “Castlecroft have been flexible and helpful at every stage of our business growth. We’ve got a fabulous dog-friendly office space, which staff are proud of and clients love to visit. Having the extra services on hand when you need them, such as meeting spaces and postage, saves time, hassle and lets me get on with the running of my business.”
